Agent EnergyWho this policy covers
This policy covers Agent Energy, Agent Energy Companion, and the Agent Energy pages on this website, provided by Spiderweb Security LLC. AI tools and agents you run alongside Agent Energy have their own privacy policies.
Information collected by the app
Agent Energy and its companion do not create accounts, collect analytics, display advertising, or transmit your activity to us. They do not collect your browsing history, documents, or the contents of other apps.
Information stored on your Mac
The companion stores a local recovery record containing the previous system sleep setting so it can restore that setting after an interruption. The record is removed after successful restoration.
Recovery errors may appear in local macOS system logs. These records are not uploaded to us by the app.
Permissions and the companion
Agent Energy Companion is included in the app download. Enabling its optional closed-lid support requires administrator approval through macOS to install a background helper that changes the system sleep setting. Communication between Agent Energy and the helper takes place locally on your Mac.
This website and downloads
The Agent Energy pages do not include analytics scripts, advertising trackers, or cookies set by us. The interactive can preview runs in your browser and does not save or send its state. Loading the website sends basic connection information, including your IP address, to the website’s hosting provider.
App downloads, release notes, and the public support repository are hosted on GitHub. Visiting GitHub or downloading Agent Energy is subject to GitHub’s privacy statement, which explains how it handles information such as your IP address and website activity.
Support
If you email [email protected], we receive your email address and the information you choose to include, and use them to respond to your request. Reports submitted to the GitHub issue tracker are public. Please do not include passwords, private agent conversations, or other sensitive information.
Sharing and your choices
We do not sell personal information or share app activity with advertisers. You can stop a session at any time.
To remove the apps, first return Agent Energy to Standby. If you enabled closed-lid support, choose Remove Companion from the companion’s options menu and wait for removal to finish. Quit both apps and move them to the Trash.
Changes and contact
We will update this page and its effective date if this policy changes. For privacy questions, contact Spiderweb Security LLC at [email protected].
